Component FTP

The FTP component is represented by the icon: and allows you to upload a file to a remote server via FTP.

To modify the behavior of an FTP component, double click on the component name located in the central workspace, it opens a popup window called "Component Configuration Window". The following figure shows the window for the component:



The first field of the window shown in the figure above is a field called "Name Component", in this you can enter a name for the component. Then there are a number of fields described below.
  • Hostname: Name or IP of the remote server.
  • Username: User with permissions to upload files to the server.
  • Password: Password to the remote server.
  • Port: Port FTP, port 21 is used by default.
  • Passive: Passive Uploading files. To learn more about FTP passive mode see Wikipedia: Ftp_MODO_PASIVO
  • Debug: Displays the errors that occur on the rise.
  • Source File: Source file to be uploaded.
  • Destination File Name and path of the file end on the remote server.
You can use the "test connection" button to check if you can connect to the server.

At the bottom of the window are three buttons appear: Save, Apply, Cancel. The Save button: Saves the changes made to the component and close the window. The Apply button: Saves the changes made to the component without closing the window. The Cancel button: Closes the window without saving changes to the component.
